About

How we decide

Overwater World is a reference, not a booking site. Every fact we publish is collected from a resort's own source, reviewed before it appears, and shown beside the source it came from. Here is how that works.

We collect from each resort's own site

15 resorts

We start from each resort's own website and brand pages, never a booking platform. A collector fetches the accommodation pages politely; where a site refuses automated requests, the operator saves the pages from a browser and we ingest those. Nothing we publish comes from a source a resort did not write.

We review with code rules and the reviewer gate

137 room types

Every proposed fact passes code rules first, then a reviewer gate, before it is approved. A fact the reviewer rejects stays unpublished until a human overrides it with a recorded reason. A resort publishes only when its facts meet a completeness threshold, so a thin page never appears.

We cite every row

874 facts

Every fact carries the source it came from, the date it was captured, and a link you can follow. The spec sheet at the top of each page is the data we hold, each row beside its source. A page says when it was last verified, and a fact older than 180 days is marked stale.
